This little diode gets used quite a lot in my photography to add red highlights, especially when I am using lower powers
because it has a tendency to get drowned out by the higher-powered lasers. For a diode laser, it has an exceptionally round
beam at just about all distances and being focussable, it has a reasonably good divergence too (if I make the effort in focussing).
