Do YOU listen to Internal Reflections?
Why are we on TAB at the moment? We've teamed up with Bandmatch to bring you a new Internet Radio station. If you're an aspiring musician, or you just like new music, Internal Reflections and Bandmatch might interest you. Internal-Reflections is the first of a number of internet radio stations with the remit to play and promote material on behalf of Bandmatch and their members. As Bandmatch goes through its beta-test phase, Internal-Reflections will also be undergoing final testing and has been publicly available since New Year's Day 2009. The Internal-Reflections broadcast will carry announcements and some test programming as well as having some fun and games with the authorised beta-testers and public listeners. When bandmatch open their doors to public registrations, Internal-Reflections should be in full swing. Internal Reflections is the chance for the unsigned musicians to have their music heard by a wider audience and until bandmatch accept public registrations, Internal Reflections will be running their own admissions policy. This means that some musicians may be able to have their music played by Internal Reflections even though they weren't lucky enough to take advantage of the limited bandmatch beta-tester offer. Internal Reflections aren't offering you money to play your tracks, nor are they asking you to pay them for airplay. However, they promise to credit your work and promote the links you provide for listeners to find/download/purchase your work. Once Bandmatch goes public, Internal Reflections will alter their admissions policy and will then only admit Bandmatch authorised material to their playlist with the following exception: Internal Reflections will continue to honour their agreement with the musicians who submit music for air-play during the Bandmatch beta-test phase. Further details will be announced in our broadcast, on these pages and on the bandmatch site... Not necessarily, in that order. Internal Reflections aren't promising loads of extra sales but it might lead to an extra album sale or two, or another couple of fans for no more than uploading some of your tunes and telling a few people about Bandmatch and Internal Reflections. Bandmatch still have a limited number of places on their beta-tester programme. If you'd like to take advantage of their offer and join the bandmatch beta-tester programme, click the bandmatch logo for further details.
